I am Mir, of the Angels of the Earth's Waters.

We are devoted to sailors everywhere. We provide company for the lonely, direction for the lost. We give inspiration to the lovers of water who find their true homes there. We comfort those who loose their sailors to the depths. The brotherhood of voyagers are our beloved charges. Sailors feel our arms around them when they navigate, and we whisper corrections. We visit on the wind, watch over the rivers and harbors, wherever our wanderers go.

I've rescued men and women under such bizarre circumstance that only an angel could do it! I love the sailors who set out alone across the ocean in little boats. In no time at all, they hear my voice. Some have even seen me.
